DeWalt Sander Switch Replacement and mains lead repair. No sooner had I repaired my friend's MultiTool see here: Fein MultiMaster Multitool Repair - a nice easy job when he asked me to fix his DeWalt Sander. The switch had failed years ago so he shorted the connections together and insulated them with tape, nat really a safe repair as the sander was always on when plugged in. I found a spare second hand rocker switch, modified it to fith the sander housing, cutback and refitted the damaged mains lead and he now has a safe and working saner once more.
